SPEARHEAD SINGLE GRAIN SCOTCH WHISKY

Supremely sippable single grain Scotch whisky here from Spearhead, produced at the Loch Lomond Distillery! There’s some really rather interesting stuff going on with this one – it’s a single grain made with 100% malted barley and given a rather long fermentation time, before being distilled in a Coffey still, and then matured in ex-bourbon barrels. Before bottling, it’s given a six month finishing period in a combination of traditionally toasted and infrared toasted barrels. Well worth checking out, this one!
